TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL LOLLIPOPS DAY

WITH A SPECIAL EVENT ON

AT THE GAZEBO IN DUMONT

 

Dumont, [July 14, 2023] — Lillypops' Founder and CEO, Lilly Trentacosta, is thrilled to announce an exciting event commemorating National Lollipops Day. The celebration will take place on Thursday, July 20, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gazebo in Dumont, where attendees can enjoy an evening filled with music, giveaways, and of course, mouthwatering Lillypops (and cotton candy).

In addition to the giveaways, Lillypops will donate a portion of the evening proceeds to Dumont Food Pantry and unveil its newest seasonal flavor Pink Lemonade to celebrate the release of the new Barbie Movie.

Adding to the prestige of the occasion, a distinguished member of the Dumont governing body will present Lilly with a momentous proclamation. It will formally declare July 20, 2023, as Lillypops Day, commemorating her entrepreneurial spirit and the company's commitment to the community.

Based in Dumont, Lillypops was founded in 2017 and make small-batch of handcrafted lollipops and gourmet cotton candy, and with each purchase, a donation is made to various charities. Founded by then-12-year-old and recent high school graduate Lilly Trentacosta (who will attend Clark University, Worchester, MA, this Fall), Lillypops has donated thousands of dollars to various nonprofit organizations. Lillypops are available online and at Jean-Georges TIN Building in NYC's South Street Seaport.

"Our favorite National "holiday," Lollipop Day, is a truly extraordinary occasion that grants Lillypops the privilege to throw a grand celebration for our community, which wholeheartedly embraced and empowered a young entrepreneur like myself to thrive. Dumont has played an integral role in our remarkable journey, as it was during Dumont Day in 2017 that we made our first-ever Lillypops sale, igniting the launch of our company.
